Rich Coogan - Keyboardist
Rich plays keyboards in three Albany New York area bands. They are Steppin' Out, Mythril, and Imagining Lennon Live. He has performed from Orlando, Florida to Montreal, Canada. The places and people he has performed with are as famous as the cities themselves. CBGB's in New York City is a favorite, as well as opening for Willie Nelson and playing with The Hager Twins from Hee Haw. Rich has been a die hard Beatle fan since he was four years old in 1964 when the fab four from Liverpool made their debut on The Ed Sullivan Show. Rich would always listen to The Beatles while lying on the dining room floor with an ear plastered to the large wooden console stereo with the volume on 10. This great music from the 60's primed Rich to get ready for the 70's when he dicovered Elton John. This gave him the inspiration to learn the piano. It was this passion that prompted Rich to want to be in a band. Rich's love for music has him playing anything from classical to ragtime, country to jazz. But his true passion will always be good old rock n' roll. Long Live Rock!
